To The Guy afraid Of Commitment

Who are you? And what do you want in life?

Every time I see you, I see you running.

Running from people, running from yourself.

Running with a blindfold to avoid the truth.

Running towards oblivion.

Shunning your heart to silence.

Where are you running? And why?

Every time you feel something for a person you run.

Every time care and love embrace you, I feel the fear engulfing your eyes.

Every time dreams walk towards you,

I can see you bury them alive.

I see your voice being silenced among the loud noises around.

But still you don't stop running.

You have built a castle of false dreams, ambitions and intentions.

But that  is not what your heart wants

There is somewhere else you belong.

Some where where the spark of your eyes do not dim off,

And where your voice doesnt turn into whispers.

You entered her life

You awakened her love.

You hid your intentions.

When feelings faded, you broke up.

You asked her to stop loving you.

When she didn't,

You pushed her away

And you moved on to another girl.

Girl after girls who shed their body to burn in your flames of passion.

While you satisfied their body and groins.

You broke their heart

All you heard were the moans of pleasure you gave them.

But when the sun rose, how did you not feel their tears.

So what are you proud of?

Are you proud of those gasps of helplessness they feel at 2 in the midnight?

Are you proud of the sinking feeling you give their heart?

or Are you proud of destroying the word " love" forever.

You punished her.

Brutally.

For one mistake that she did.

Not having perceived love in the way you did.

Not letting the strings go when the night ended.

Not treating you like " just another man"

I still see you running.

But this time when you run.

I want to see the shadow of guilt behind you.

I want to see your eyes lower when you hear her name.

I want to see you turn away when conversations are about her

I want your smile to fade when you wake up after a dream about her

I want you to think how every time when love was served to you,

You pushed it away in the name of unsteadiness.

With every ounce of her heart that cures itself,

I want you to regret.

For letting her go

For leaving her alone

For destroying love for her.

For thinking that she was just another girl.

Love was precious for her.

She kept her heart in darkness.

Away from love.

Too scared to be hurted.

You came as a bright light.

Like diamond

But how could she not know you were darkness in disguise.

She doesnt want to be the dirty secret that the night keeps,

she wants to be the morning that makes people smile.

But with your darkness, she can never shine.
