Too Late to Love Me Now

It's been so long watching you catch every girls attention,
Disguising yourself as a dream ; a beautiful hallucination,
But unlike them I can see that monster lurking behind your shadows,
Breaking promises,  smashing every hearts,  and spitting at cupid's arrows,
Some might think I'm lucky, 
Never to be fooled by you,
But the world has been cruel lately,
I accidentally fell in love with you.

One day,  the moment I've been waiting for came,
You gave me a character in your little game,
You approached me and asked "May I know your name? "
After that you smiled and I found myself doing the same,
I already knew your trap but being stupid as I am I let myself fell for it,
I told you my name,  shaked your hands,  and felt somewhat electrocuted,
Oh playboy,  I knew where this is going,
You'll break my heart and just thinking about it is terrifying.

We've been friends,  besties into lovers,
Everyday,  recieving chocolates  and flowers,
But enjoying myself too much while knowing the outcome,
Made me feel like a sick horrible loser,
But what's wrong with being happy even just for a little while?
Funny how a clown made me cry but a facade made me smile.

After one month you left without any goodbyes,
Once again watching you with another girl with my sad eyes,
Like a typical love story of a girl falling in love with a playboy,
But wait there's more..
I am a diamond with burning flame,
Falling down for me seems to be lame.

And so I moved on and erased my feelings for that bastard,
Little did I know I caught a good boy's heart,
He made me feel more unique and special,
And promised me no forever at all instead he said,
"I promise to be with you, if not for the rest of your time,  then for the rest of mine, " and that's enough,
He made me smile and laugh,
He gave me no chocolates and flowers at all instead he wrote poems and sing romantic songs to make me happy
He made me feel the happiest and luckiest woman alive.

But suddenly...

A shocking revelation almost ruined everything,
There comes the man I once love,  the playboy,
Once again he approached me with these insane words,

"It's been so long watching you like a twinkling star in a dark rainy night,
With all those girls in my arms you seemed to be the center of my sight,
Yes,  call me a playboy,  call me a whore,
But you're the only one I showed true love with and that's for sure,
The days we've been together,  I admit,  the happiest days of my life,
Would you believe me if I say,
All of my I love you's in those days,
Are not facade at all but true to embrace?
Sorry for everything love,  thank you for those treasured moments we've been through,
Now that you know everything, is it still be okay to say "I love you"? "

Oh darling,  playing pretend has been our biggest mistake,
Hiding the truth and presenting the fake,
Reality like an earthquake made everything shake,
The matter of ruining hearts and causing a heartbreak,
And so I said to him,

"Dear,  I loved you for a very long time,
And for a short time you spread vivid pastels in my life,
Which I never knew and what I thought is black and white,
