Warming up the car before moving
Warming up your car is very important because it assures that the engine oil present inside covers every nook and corner of the engine. During winters, the engine oil tends to become thick which will take more time to flow through the various parts of the engine. Therefore, it’s always best to let to let your car idle and warm-up for 3–5 minutes before moving.
Battery Care
If your car battery’s charge is low or close to depletion, the battery has a good chance of dying off during winter. The distilled water present inside the battery plays a key role in the chemical reaction occurring inside. If this distilled water freezes during the reaction, it can cause permanent, irreplaceable damage to the cells.
Windshield Wipers

Defroster and climate control
You have to make sure in advance that both of these systems are properly working in your vehicle. The climate control system works on keeping you warm, and the defroster keeps your windows from getting foggy or icy.
