So here it goes.. He was madly in love with her. She didn't get a trace of his crazy love at first. They were utterly different from each other, like opposite poles. She is kind of the person who bottles up emotions and lives in her own little bubble. He is impulsive and bad-ass sorta guy but never fails to look after her. He picked her up every time she fell. He used to sing sweet songs to her until she fell asleep. He whispered sweet nothings into her ear when she is down. She finally felt secured around him. He never left her sight. No, she was not dependent of him. But he was. How? yeah, I will tell you how. She was there for him when he needed a shoulder to cry on. Warmth, love and emotional security were provided by her. He thought he has always had the upper hand in their relationship. He did not analyze everything until.... She had broken his heart.
Why did she break his heart? He offered almost everything to her but his time. They were really close for first 5 years together. Desperately talked to each other every night with same old lovey-dovey lines, "I miss you. I think about you all the time" What had happened? Over the years, their love started to fade. He started giving excuses and she was tired of hearing them. He didn't bother to remember important dates. She was still there by his side. He forgot her birthday which is a huge turn off because for her last birthday he called at 11.50 pm and their call extended till 4.15 am. She let out a heavy sigh. She had enough and she was on verge of giving up on him. Cherry on top, She noticed she was getting a call from the evil spawn. "Hello?" She said ,as if she was conversing with a stranger. He did not get a hint of that and continued speaking "Hun.. I know you'd be mad but hear me out, I am in airport. He didn't allow her to respond. "Yes, I am an inch closer to getting on plane to Australia." BOOOM! Her heart exploded. She didn't know how to put her feelings into words. "Uh-huh" was her only reply to his shenanigans and disconnected the call. She'd made no effort to tell him how she really felt.
How little things he did for her mattered the most to her. The more she tries to forget him, the more she remembers the memories they cherished together. She threatened herself "One more thought about him and I swear, I am gonna open up that pretty little skull of yours and slap your brain" But it did not seem to work. She remembered the first moment when he'd asked her out. He was sitting in the middle of beautiful flowers with his innocent grin. She couldn't say anything but yes. Her genuine smile and heartfelt laughter only belonged to him. She was like a totally different person when she was with him. She is not much of a sharer but she talked his ears out. She thought he was her true love. But time flipped over everything. She was not okay with all the changes and finally she got over him. Now she is happy without him. The path is divided into two so are their lives now.
