As the days are passing by her habit is getting a stronger hold on her. Her habit of staying alone is getting the better of her, yet the nearly frozen heart beats in her waiting for someone....
She was never a hopeless romantic, rather a calculative fool; she fell in love once. Kept falling deeper and deeper for four full years till she was left in the darkness to fight her own war. In response she curled into that darkness.
Her expectations from anyone had half died, she looks through people now and nothing can hold her attention for more than a minute. Nothing but a couple in love, passing by hand in hand, laughing together.
She looks at them as if it was her imagination walking past her. She finds herself being over-powered by a series of emotions. Her response starts with an irritation. That which you cannot get, ultimately irritates you; that is the how the world works, and she is no different.
She turns her head to look at them and mumble under her breath yet she find her attention floating towards them every second. She looks at them yet again and finally a smile touches her lips. There is an unusual calm in her heart. She wonders how is it possible. How are the passing couple so happy when the same love has left her hurt?
Her eyes widens and she starts asking herself questions that sounds like accusations, maybe she was the person who had gone wrong! In a moment she remembers she had been staring at them, so she quickly shifts her gaze. But all she sees is happy couples around her. She looks down with sadness, and quickly looks up to dry a forming tear. She reminds herself she is a strong independent girl and straightened herself.
She starts walking away, as she had to walk away years ago. But as she left, she stole a glance and smiled. She felt her heart beat. She knew what she expected. She just wanted a strong hand hold hers. She wanted to laugh and tilt her head on a broad shoulder, she wanted her someone...and as she walked herself into the crowd she left a door of her heart half open this time. This time in hope, waiting for someone...
With love,
