What to do, What to do,
the question that must riddle us all.
We put and put and put it off
until it is time to absolutely know,
and some of us do and some of us don’t.
Some know just what to do,
they have this one thing that they would love to pursue.
Some have just what to do thrust upon them,
whether by parents or comrades or life it matters not,
they still know just what they are going to do.
But others, those conflicted, confounded, confused few,
whether they have no clue what to do
or if they have so many things that they what to do
that they have no idea which they will pursue.
Both parties still are baffled, befuddled, and bemused
at the prospect of having to choose
what they will be stuck doing
more like than not for the rest of their days,
their so many yet so few days they have left on our planet Earth.
They stutter and stumble and fall when the time comes around
that they must choose:
What to do? What to do?
