Being lonely isn't good for anyone
Loneliness is only merciful to none
It gives a feeling that hurts so bad
It takes all the joy you've ever had
It can drive a stake through the heart
And that is merely just the start
It rips you apart piece by piece
It keeps you in pain with no release
While there is little to no hope
Some find a way to cope
Others break down and can't be fixed
Those who get up get feelings that are mixed
They want to give up but they're also determined
They want the life that the had imagined
One where loneliness doesn't exist
But for the time being they will persist
