WINGS ON FIRE.

"You must fly high,I have bought this seat for you",my father told me taking a sip from his glass of Bacardi.

I sat on my bed listening to him with eyes filled with tears.

"Please don't drink,we have a train to catch",my mother requested.

He was already under the Bacardi effect,her request enraged him,made him feel inferior before his wife.

Immediately he threw the remote in his hand at her.

I was watching all this,my father beating my mother,using abusive words and the  whole hotel heard their fight.

I had secured an MBBS seat one hour before but I couldn't rejoice in it.

After beating my mother he again told me to fly high.

I wanted to tell him,

"I HAVE NO WINGS TO FLY,YOU SET MY WINGS ON FIRE".

but I was afraid,tears rolling down my cheek was my answer to him.
