"Gold" Shim said, as she saw the golden reflection on the statue made of gold and something else, she couldn't find words to place with the statue. "its just simple, why couldn't we make something like that for our project?"
A pause then someone spoke, with the slightest breath, that even dried leaves had the sounds of elephants "And where exactly will we get gold, and the rest of material to make a statue, Shim?", maybe whoever spoke had a slightest hint of sarcasm in their voice.
"oh there are ways" Shim paused to think about what say next, she dropped her gaze from the person, to the sidewalk. what exactly was she thinking, talking about projects in this amazing place--that had her in trance, or did it? how did this happen, that she was working on a project with her worst enemy, her tormentor, and bully--here she was standing next to them, having a normal conversation, as though nothing had ever happened...but it did, and pain was yet a wound. Why did her teacher make her become "project" buddies with this character? why indeed, a wound never heals, it only gets covered up by scars!
"Shim...I don't do well with projects, nor statues!" the voice was a bit sad, maybe even hurt. But Shim didn't care, at least she pretended not to. As far as this went, she could do this all on her own, her strength held her together, her whole entire self held her. And she wasn't about to give in to this...
"its fine, I can do it by my self, nothing hard here" she sounded as though she was a cold gust of winters air, filled with frost and chills, and pain. she held her head high, as she glanced up at this character-character that held her gaze, then droped it.
"I am sorry for being an iceberg in your sea, I am sorry for being a jerk I was--I don't know how you feel, just so you know I never meant to harm you, Shim...never! Forgiveness I must earn, trust I must learn to accept, and fear we must overcome together, this battle and this--DAMAGE" the character...dashed away into the still night.
