"So tell me something about yourself", she posed the Starter kind of question to start any new relationship.
"It's difficult to tell you who I am..", I started. She looked at me puzzled. "If I tell you this is how I am, maybe I will be lying. I can tell you which food I like and which colour I prefer wearing but we don't live with just that. Do we? I am neither an extrovert nor an introvert. I fall in between, an Ambivert. I am like a Sherlock Holmes at times and completely dumb sometimes. I enjoy talking to someone over phone for long hours and sometimes I don't even feel like picking calls. I love writing & there are times when I don't feel like writing anything for months. I am die hard romantic at times and sometimes I feel like a saint."
She was looking at me bewildered on my continuous blabbering. I continued, "I am selfless at times and selfish some other times. I get emotional for small things when sometimes I feel nothing for bigger things. I am brimming with energy at times and sometimes I don't even. want to get up from my cozy bed. I am extremely cool at times & sometimes small things piss me off. I don't lie usually but when I do, I make sure it appears as truthful as that person imagines."
"This is Me. I can never be defined and categorized. I am nothing as you imagine me to be and everything that I explore myself for. If I tell you this is what I am, then one day if we end up together, you will tell me the common dialogue 'You were not this before. You have changed.' Now that I have told you about me, I am sure you don't want to ask anything more and leave.", I said. When you are rejected by 12 girls for an arranged marriage saying you are not like the rest of the world, You can anticipate how this will end up with.
"You know what? You need help..." she said. "Psychiatric Help?", I asked. "No No, my help", she said. "Your help? How?", I asked. "You are a Big Mess. Something that needs a lifetime to clean. I like cleaning mess be it books of accounts or Life. Give me that contract and I will hope cleaning it in this lifetime." she said and winked at me.
That moment I realized there are other people who are equally as insane as me. I knew this was a perfect match....
