You guys are more than just our teachers
For change really do start in you

What's going on in our little heads
This is our life
A life in a student's point of view
First period, essay making
I always struggled with this class
For I never even passed
Nor had the desire to pursue this as a career
I hated writing so much
Until, I met you
Thank you for being so patient in teaching us correct grammar and punctation
Thank you Teacher!
Second Period,
I wasn't really good at memorization
Yet I had to analyze every situation
Constitutional laws and Philippine history
Continues to flow in my mind
But, when you started to teach me
Everything turned out just fine
Third period, lab experiment
I never envisioned myself as a scientist someday
It was never one of my dreams to become one
Yet, here you are
Here to change me once again
With a simple flick of your wrist
We are wiser than before
Thank you Teacher!
Fourth Period
Some people told me
I don't any skill
Felt bad about myself
I couldn't be this useless!
Yet when my TLE teacher came up to me and said
Worry no more
Let's put you to the test!
You never really know
If you're good or bad at something
I might be bad at math, science or sports
Yet in drafting, FBS and computer servicing
I might have it all
Thank you dear teacher, for the call
Fifth period, attitude class
I was never one of the girls who talked back
But I was never one of the goody two-shoes as well
But, as expected
You made me into a person whom I never thought I could be
You taught me good manners and now my self-esteem is back
Thank you Teacher!
Sixth Period
Do you remember the day I was struggling so bad?
It's past 30 minutes yet I still don't have an answer
I never really thought I could be better
But ever since you came along
You were my life saver
Math problems? Geez solutions are now much easier to remember
Seventh period, language test
I never considered myself as a patriotic person But neither a rebel as well
It was not because I wasn't into my Filipino language
But, you enlightened me
You made me realize that I should be proud for what our "ancestors built up"
Thank you Teacher!
Last Period
Hey Sir! I hope you won't give up on me
For you've found me in my dark times, I was lost
You've opened my mind and inspired me so much
Taught me to never give up on the things I love
That in music and arts, the lessons you impart
Will stay here, deep within my heart
Before we move along, and get off this stage
Let us open our minds before we turn to the next page
When your teacher comes in your class
Wave a hand and say hi
Give them a hug, don't be too shy
I am glad that we are never too late
It has been truly worth the wait
