Your person?

If you've always been an indoor person, people could assume that the lockdown is a blessing for you. To an extent, you are enjoying it, but doing something out of an obligation could get tiring. Staying cooped up inside your house for months does have a negative impact on everyone's mental health and you're no different. You've been cut off from the world before (voluntarily) but this is the time when you actually realise how important it is to have atleast one person in your corner. Even though you have things like cooking, books and music to support you, sometimes you could find yourself wanting of someone who would listen to all the uselsss thoughts in your head.

Your person doesn't necessarily have to be a lover or your best friend, it could be any person you come across in that moment.

The conversation doesn't have to lead to anything, it shouldn't cement your friendship, be taken as a proof of your intention or become a question of right and wrong. It should just be a conversation where you ponder over thoughts with inputs from another person. The more you have such conversations, the more easily you will accept the fact that opinions and perspectives differ. You'll not feel pressured to find 'your go to person' and will be able to make peace with the fact that just being connected is enough.

It'll turn out to be a feel good factor, especially in the current situation.
