chapter 1.
There i was again sitting in front of the t.v. and switching the channels as there was nothing interesting . The F.I.F.A was about to enter into its quaterfinals and i couldnt watch it because my father had locked the sports channel , my only hope was the the news channels but for the last few days the news channels showed news of some freak virus breakout while testing of alziehmers medicine . I was about to play another round of Candy Crush when i received a message from my father , ''get readyby 7;00 pm, PTM at school. i will pick you up by 6;00 [dont be late]'' . I was tottaly scared now , why the hell shall the school organise PTM right now, we had one just two weeks ago and believe me , it was not good. My father would kill me if my teachers complained against me again . I got dressed and was very disappointed and scared as i didnt know the motive of this all of a sudden PTM. My school 'INFRACORP HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL ' was strange in many ways .
chapter 2.
At 6;05 my father picked me up from home and together we took off for school. It was a silent drive and we didn't talk till we reached school. It was a cool September evening and the roads were desserted , which was very strange but due to the school problems i ignored them. The school gate was open and the guards were not present at the gate , so we went inside without making entry in the register . As we reached the stairways for going to the 3 floor , we noticed it was pitch dark and the school looked dark and desserted, except the 3rd floor where rooms were lighted . My father went ahead of me , i followed him in the dark but suddenly i tripped but balanced myself on time by grabbing the railing. As i looked up i couldn't locate my father . He was just in front of me a few seconds before but now he was gone . I checked the whole 3rd floor but there was no one there . I called out my father several times but he didn't answer.
chapter 3.
I decided to go to the car and wait for him. i had forgot my phone at home by mistake , so there was no way to make communication with my father. When i was going downstairs i saw one of my colleages . He was acting weird by being drowsy and all . I called out to him asked whether he had seen my father . He did not reply and instead came running towards me and tried to bite me . I pushed him back and punched him on the face , he stumbled backwards on the stairs and fell down , But he still got up and came towards me . I pushed him away and ran towards my car, i was still confused by his behaviour . I came out of the school gate and this time i saw everything in a more detailed view . The roads were not completely desserted , they had people but they were also behaving like my colleage. I noticed that the roads were covered with blood and tattered clothes and other belonging of people . I thought all of this was a nightmare and i wanted to wake up immediately but i couldn't because it was the reality.
chapter 4.
Suddenly i heard a noise behind me and when i turned , i saw two infected people coming towards me , i wanted to run away but my legs froze due to fear , and i couldn't move . They were about 10 feet away from me when i heard two gunshots and saw the infected people crumbling down . The aim was very accurate because the bullet had hit them right in the head . When i saw the shooter , i was amazed . It was a girl of my age . She was a super goodlooking zombie killing machine . She looked like Mila Jokovic from Resident Evil movie but far more hot . She wore black jeans and a black t-shirt and a jacket over that, she wore a bandana on her head with sign of skull , Her hair was tied in a ponytail behind her . ''Are you infected, did they bite you ?'' she asked . ''ahhhe'' my voice didnt came out as i tried to reply . ''What ?''she asked with a confused look . ''No, i am not . '' i replied . She looked at me from head to toe as if deciding whether to kill me or not . ''Here take it , it will save your life . '' she said and handed me a pistol . '' woah , who are you ?'' i asked. '' No time for explaining come on lets go . you can stay if you want more of them to come and get you .'' she replied ''At least tell me where are we going ?'' i asked . '' To the Infracorp headquaters , i have a little bit of work to complete there '' she said . '' What work ? '' i asked . ''You coming or not ? '' she said and began walking away . I followed her '' wait, i dont know how to use a gun .'' I said . '' its simple , just remove safety and shoot , and most importantly aim for head and dont waste ammo '' she said . We kept walking for 2 hours before she spotted a safe place for us to spend the night safely . She asked me to sleep while she would gaurd . I couldnt find sleep that night due to 2 reasons ,
1. she looked hot like a warrior princess from mythological tales
2. I was scared that when i sleep , the infected people would attack me
The next few days went good-- I killed my first zombie, learnt to shoot a gun , Drive a car and most importantly i came to know her more ,although she didnt tell me her name or personal details , she told me that her family worked for infracorp including her, when the virus was found to be unstable, her decided to make it public but infracorp killed them . she was rough and tough on outside but from inside she was soft and fragile .
chapter 5 .
For the next few days we kept travelling at days and rested at nights . One thing i noticed was that the behaviour of zombies changed in a drastic manner . In the beggining they were kind of slow and lazy , but the last few ones we killed were fast and ferocious . But it didnt matter much because day by day my shooting skills were improving . One day we got up in a jolly mood and had breakfast and got ready for the day. It was just another day for me . Soon it was evening and we decided it was time to look for a hide out for night stay . But as i was searching for a safe place i saw a fire on a buildings top , it was a torch . I was alarmed , quickly i informed her about it . When she saw a kind of concerned look on her face .I was about to ask her what happened when she suddenly said '' We are at our destination . we dont have time to waste . we should take advantage of darkness for getting inside and take out the place '' Now i understood the meaning of the concerned look on her face , we were at the Infracorp head quaters . ''Lets do this '' I said . We waited a couple of hours for darkness to settle in .
chapter 6 .
At 21;00 hours we sneeked past their gaurds and entered the building . We heard sound of footsteps arriving and got in the nearest room to hide . The room was dark, as we were trying to find out where we were suddenly bright light came to life and we froze where we stood . It was a big room with monitors showing the footage of different rooms, halls and corridoors . '' look '' she pointed to one of the monitors . The monitor on the top showed the way where we came from . '' suprised? welcome to the 21st century kids , you should have least sense that a place like this have cameras all round '' the source of the voice was a person seated infront of the monitors . I knew him very well , his was one face i could never forget , he was my father . '' papa'' i called . ''Dont call me papa kid ! you are nothing but one of my mistakes '' he replied .Suddenly the door burst open and men in uniform seized us . She tried to struggle but at last gave in, suddenly a guard hit the butt of his rifle on my head and i lost conciousness .
chapter 7 .
When i woke up i was all tied up with the hunter beside me . ''good morning , well your father seems to be a really nice person '' she said sarcastically . ''He' s not my father anymore '' i replied . '' Then help me cut the ropes and free me '' she replied and handed me a pocket knife . I began my work on cutting the ropes , but the ropes were thick and it seemed ages before we were finally free . On our way back we found our weapons and took out the gaurds who came tried to stop us . As we reached out of the building and started heading towards the fence a familiar sound came from behind . '' Going somewhere ?'' it was my father . '' yeah ,just escaping from here '' hunter replied . '' Guards get them !!!! '' my father ordered the men in uniform . we ran as fast as our feet could take us. As we reached the generator room we were fully trapped by them , there was no escape , '' You ready ''she asked me . ''Born ready !'' i replied and together we began emptying our cartridges one by one on the guards entering the room . There never seem to be an end to the number of guards entering the room . ''My ammo is over , you have any left ? '' she asked me . '' Not much'' i replied . Suddenly my eyes went on a signboard near us , It was an emergency exit . '' I found a way out , come on lets go '' i said to the hunter . '' There is no escape from me '' shouted my father as he entered the room with more guards .
chapter 8 .
'' Hey i will cover you , i still have the grenades and there is enough to take out this place '' hunter said showing me the grenades . '' No i am not going to leave without you '' i replied . '' I know you wont but you have to '' saying this she pulled me closer and kissed me . I thought i was dead because my brain stopped working and it felt like i reached the oblivion and things around me slowed down , suddenly she broke the kiss and pushed me and kicked me hard on the chest . I fell with my back towards the door . The door burst open and i went head down on the stairs . As i fell i heard an explosion and i was thrown away by its force and i lost my conciousness . When i regained my senses i found myself lying in rubble and dust . My head still throbed from the noise from explosion . I had bruised my left leg and limped my way out of the rubble to find the hunter , suddenly i found a piece of her blood covered armour , as i picked it up all the memories of us spending time together came to me and my eyes filled with tears , suddenly i heard a helicopter hovering above me , it had the sign of Infra corp . They were carrying the injured and the high ranked officers including my father to their nearby base . The explosion had failed to kill them but i wont . I wouldnt let her sacrifice go in wain , i decided and shouted '' I AM COMING FOR YOU !!!!!'''
