Running around in circles,
Taking notes on how everybody’s life is turning,
I spend my day,
Looking for people, places, objects,
That would tell me something,
Everything that I could blame for my incompetence,
Oh, I’m jealous.
Matte black cars, Marlboro lights,
The extra marks, that showy status,
But all seem to haze,
Blend perfectly,
At night,
In moon’s pearly brilliance.
She’s so pure, nurturing,
Always welcomes me,
With utmost love.
Her beauty, her grace,
Makes me forget,
All those I wanted to show down.
I cry, She forgives.
It reminds me,
To see,
What it takes to delve in greater depths,
Of the greater unknown,
To rise above pettiness.
For all of us fight,
In the different battlegrounds,
Against the same evil.
No, I’m not jealous.
For I’m beautiful,
Forever, in its light.
