I’m not a male chauvinist but yes, I am anti-feminist. Well, I at least believed I am one.

Experiencing Gal Gadot beat the shit out of bad guys really made my weekend. It was a typical Super Hero film; lots of action, pure drama, a history of the lead character. There was just one glitch. It didn’t have a Super Hero!

It instead had a Super Heroine, thus technically it introduced a whole new genre (language purists might agree with us while movie critics ignore; let’s just keep it that way). Males have always been the brute force and females have always been the tender touch. They are designed that way, aren’t they? Irrespective of the answer, it was definite that Patty had to find a way to make people digest a Super Heroine. She had to portray the brute force with the tender touch.

Women are designed to be triggered by emotions.

The whole plot of the film would be at a standstill had a woman left a man to drown. Themyscira would be the place of action hadn’t a woman’s heart ached for the ashes of millions. No one would have moved an inch hadn’t a woman provided them cover. Steve’s sacrifice would have proved futile hadn’t a woman eliminated a God. The planet would exist but without mankind if it hadn’t been for a woman. Even at the time when she was being thrashed by Aeres, she got her strength seeing Steve die; even when doctor poison was served to her on a platter, she let her stay alive.

If these are not emotions, I don’t know what are; if this is not strength, I don’t know what is!

As hypothetical it may sound, after all it is a fiction.

The director not only managed to portray a beautiful Super Heroine but she has also portrayed a Hero, he may not be a Super Hero but is not someone who can be ignored.

Is it a film encouraging feminism: Yes, real feminism

Does the film overdo it: No, because
