A failed proposal

"But how can we.....We are friends,"Meera said me.

She was shocked as Kabir proposed her. On hearing this, I lost all my hopes of proposing her.The Propose Day also went in vain. A series of unfortunate events led the downfall of my courage to present her my feelings. Kabir was not the first guy who proposed her,it was her seventh for the day.

She deserved that. Words are not enough to describe Meera's beauty. She is just like a superhit Bollywood drama. Her smile was killer,her eyes was so hypnotizing that even Tom Cruise would love to fall for her but the most attractive part of her body for me was her cute nose which used to turn red every now and then. Aww,it looked so cute. Flawless!! Her elegance had a charming effect.

"Let's go for a walk,"I replied.

We went through the main streets and reached our final destination, the ghats of Ganga. This was the only place we love to come when anyone of us want to release our feelings. We sat on a broken wall facing the river.

"C'mon Meera,it's just a proposal. And it depends on you whom to choose."

"Do you know what?"

"What?"

"I think Kabir is not that bad.I mean he has a good personality,a handsome face,he even has a sports bike......."

"So....?"My curiosity was at its peak.

".......so he deserves a beautiful girlfriend like me,"Meera's eyes glittered​ with her words.

"But do you really think he loves you?"I questioned as a prosecutor.

" Not sure but may be..."

"But he already had so many girlfriends in past and also he is not made for you. "

"Then who is suitable for me?"

"It's me..."

"You?" Her question​ seemed more from a detective than my best friend.

"It's me who will find a suitable guy for you." I some how managed to cover up the situation.

She descend down from the broken wall and turned to me and said," I hoped Raghav,you would propose me today,so that I can choose my Mr. Perfect."

Those words ran into my mind and I woke up saying,"I Love you."
