11:11
Like shooting stars and comets plummeting across the night sky, we mumble our wishes everytime the clock hits 11:11 though the assurance is pallid and uncertain. We believe what we desire will come true in the slightest motion of clock. We rely our dreams in an inanimate object, why don’t we walk the arid road and grasp what our hearts wanted the most?
Open that shabby cabinet of yours, forget the smell of old boots and ghastly clothes. Let the butterflies flutter, you are a bird. You can withstand hurricanes and sudden squalls of storm, you don’t belong in a flower garden. You live in a forest full of thorns. Be free, explore. Don’t let yourself deluded in that dark and dusty box. Get out of that obnoxious cage. You are more than that, you are a dreamer. Don’t just explore the corroded surface of the place where you hide, don’t let yourself hear those outside whispers, make a music out of it. Down let your eyes be tended with purple fires, ignite your own flame and let your eyes seek unusual things outside that comfort zone.
Don’t be stuck in that 11:11 childish phantasm. Get a life.
Travel places, go north, south or wherever you wanted to be. Emancipate yourself. Don’t get hypnotized by the same number all over again because that is just a mere mentality. The world has many roads and you are a traveler. A wanderer. Grab those cotton candy skies, dive for the endless depth of the oceans, let the currents take you to its most subtle point and be awestruck in the ethereal view of mountains.
Read a book or visit your favorite coffee shop. Play pinochle or write fantasies. Fall in love. There’s so much to enjoy in this life than being captivated in the illogical 11:11 belief. If you really want your dreams to come true, be your own shooting star, perspire and work hard for it. Let your blisters show your triumph, the scratches your victory and let your wounds inspire others. Our lives depend on how we will the present and change the course of our own future.
"Our fates are not tied in just the simple motion of clock but to ourselves, in our hands, on our choices."
