I can’t imagine the pain you’ve been through,
For taking care of me until I reached 2.
And from that time on as I vividly remember,
You’re smile is so sweet, my precious mother.
6 years old when I ran to cry on you.
As you sermon that I need to fight back too.
And when I got small problems, you never leave my side.
You talk to me and say, “Hold my hand tight.”
18 years as I bid our goodbyes,
You’re in the kitchen and saw you teary-eyed.
I know it’s hard for you to let go of me.
But you calmly said, “Now write your own story.”
And now I came back when I reached the age of 30.
I realize how much I missed your voice so lovely
You’re sitting on a chair, white hair on your hair
“Mom I missed you. You’ve taught me very well.”
We talk all night like there’s no tomorrow.
We laugh all might and hide all of our sorrows.
And yes how beautiful you are in my eyes,
My precious Mom, your memories never die.
Looking at old photographs I stopped and realized,
How real were the flashbacks and I can’t turn back the time?
But your smile and laugh echoes on my mind,
“Yes, I love you Mom”, as I whisper through the night.
