"I guess the worst part about loving a fragile person is that they could become oblivious to the fact that you could get broken, too. They unmask, show their insecurities, get comfortable around you, and you naturally create a little piece of heaven as a sanctuary for their vulnerabilities. They expect you to protect and love them unconditionally, and that is what you do. They expect you to not have flaws; to not make any mistake challenging their demons. But there are times when love fails; when promises frail and words crumble, and the mess in them makes it easier for them to just abandon you— selfishly thinking how dare you let them down after making you see through them.

You thought you have it all figured out but you only get the slightest hint of the intensity of knowing you've given all you have but you're still not enough. It's like you get picked in a box full of assorted chocolates. They've enjoyed savoring you, very cautiously, until they get to see your surprise center and realize
