Info

My vision is blurred, my heart is pounding
My ears are ringing, and I can't hear a damn thing.
Your cries of apology fall on deaf ears.
I cry as I realize the insincerities over the past two years.

I'm not perfect; nobody is.
I won't go so far as to say that every day with me was pure bliss.
But did I really deserve to be treated like this?
When all I ever wanted was for our love to not drown like the Atlantis.

For how can I trust you again, my love?
When you've sprinkled doubt and uncertainty over our garden of truth.
How can I believe that your love fits me like a glove?
When I see you professing your unrequited love to a lover from your youth.

So, as much as it pains me, I must let you go.
For the man standing before me is no longer someone I used to know.
What used to be my knight in shining armor
Is now the devil sent to Earth to teach me how to love smarter.
