Marcelo-My Very First Love

I open my heart one final time and imprint my soul on the man that has always been,
Always been there to mop up my wildlife,my tears,my blood,
And what I painstakingly notice is what a silly ignorant woman I've been,
For 30 years choosing love from men who never had love to give in the first place,
For believing the liars and helping the thieves steal parts of my soul,
I could have been in sweet bliss,
I could have had the only man who had any love to begin with,
But I was too young-chose to be blind,chose to bleed,
So now I have him and he has taken me into his arms,
I am finally sated,finally I have had the biggest epiphany of my life that the love of my life was there at the start,
So I won't cry anymore, won't need to as he's dried my eyes with the sweetest kisses adorned from head to foot,
No I won't waste a minute I will document,capture,cherish,nurture and celebrate in great splendour every moment with him,
Oh you haven't seen how great my man is?
He loves with fire and he rushes passion over my body like the waves crash over the ocean,
He has such a heart so rare I want to keep it in a safety box,
For it is the truest most amazing love I have ever experienced,
Because he is the first man to unconditionally love me whole,
And I like how he wants to protect me,seduce me,swoon me,woo me,
His love is liquid fire and I will drink greedily ,
For he is my new addiction this love this man is my heroin,
As well as the hero of this poem,
He has saved my mind,
He is so amazing-and he's all mine,
He likes to tell me so all the time.
