I always questioned why I could not forget you
Or why you always had a place in my heart.

I still question why after 5 years your memories keep appearing on certain circumstances.

But only after 5 years did I realize why you held a special place in my heart.

Because of you, I saw the world differently
Because of you I learned how to interact with people.
Because of you I learned to empatize with other.
Because of you I learned to recieve complements
Because of you I learned to have fun and not take things too seriously.
Because of you I learned to love.

Because loving you made me grow.
Because of you I would have never become the person who I am today.

Although loving you also did hurt.
I am still greatful that the love I had for you brought out some of the best in me.
