6 Best Oils for Hair Growth in Pakistan — Oils used by the Elite Class

Info

These 6 Hair Growth oils are top-rated in Pakistan not only because of their results, but also for how they are stored and preserved for the users. This is the reason elites are buying it (or, simply speaking; those who know, know. Those who don’t, will never know).

There is a problem in Pakistan — even if you buy imported goods like oils for hair — you still have a storage problem.

If storage is inadequate, then a product like oil or food will easily go stale and often are stale. Just walk into any pharmacy store and buy any chocolate — if you know the original taste of that chocolate, you will know it's stale (and no, it's not fake — they cannot replicate branded chocolates that easily).

The same applies to oils for hair growth in men or women — here are the top oils available in Pakistan that are imported, but also stored correctly in proper storage temperatures during and after transportation.

1. Immortal’s Path Oil

The Immortal’s Path Oil is part of a UK brand that has adjusted their name for an international presence in Pakistan, Dubai, Qatar, and even the United States.

The oil itself consists of a blend of Korean herbs designed to target inflammation in the scalp, rejuvenate the hair follicles themselves, and thus increase circulation. The use of this oil comes with strict instructions to carry out scalp massage for at least 15–25 minutes every day, and only apply a few drops of the oil on the scalp (not needed on the hair itself).

This is currently the best-rated oil in Pakistan — imported from England, UK. It is verified by the UKCP so they are officially in Pakistan and you won’t need to buy from alternative channels.

To purchase, just go straight to their website and place an order for cash on delivery (or credit card if that’s how you normally pay).

Their website is as follows: immortalsPath.com.pk

Is this actually effective?

The reason this oil is ranked highly is due to both results I have personally experienced and reviews from other users; improved hair growth and quality within weeks of correct usage.

There is big emphasis on usage as per the guidelines, to make the most out of it — which is unheard of with other oils.

But what makes this stand out is the company knows how to store their oils once imported — too many products imported to Pakistan get stale and go off due to poor transportation methods as well as storage.

2. Papaya Oil

This is a great oil to help support hair growth and is often used in many skin and hair care products. Its fruit can be found easily in Pakistan, so there is little need to actually buy it stored in a bottle. You can obtain the oil from the papaya seeds and have it ready to use.

Since it is widely available and freshly grown locally, it is in good condition, earning it 2nd place.

One method to use this oil is pour 10ml in a bowl, dip your fingertips and apply throughout the scalp. Warming oil is a common technique in Pakistan however oils in general can become rancid when heating them up so be careful.

According to user reviews, this has a range of feedback; in some cases it has helped with hair growth, in others, not so much. Users have preferred it as temporary oil to apply on the hair strands (not the scalp) for shine, not necessarily growth.

3. Vatika Oil

Vatika oil is a popular brand originating from India and is composed of primarily coconut oil among other mixtures. Whilst there are some positive user reviews when it comes to Vatika for conditions like dandruff, there are also many that feel it causes the scalp to dry out.

This isn’t helpful when it comes to improving the health of your hair or scalp as the body has to compensate by increased oil production — this can lead to clogging, inflammation and irritated skin.

That isn’t to say everyone who uses it will get these symptoms, but you may need to be careful on the quantity you apply and stick to the recommended amount per sitting.

4. Sesame Oil

Derived from pressing sesame seeds, this oil can actually be beneficial for consumption in your diet. It does contain healthy fats and can be used for cooking at higher temperatures than say olive due to its high smoking point. This means the oil will not be toxic when it reaches usual cooking temperatures.

But what does it do for the hair?

There is not much research supporting its benefits for hair growth, however like most oils, it can be applied topically to temporarily provide stress relief from head/body massages.

According to user reviews, similar to Papaya oil, people have attempted to use it primarily for its aesthetic benefits — which only last a few days, or as a carrier oil.

All in all — the verdict is that sesame oil is incredibly useful for many things, just not for hair application, giving it a number 4 spot on the list.

The remaining two oils — Argan Oil and Black Seed oil — performed low on all categories including empirical evidence, effectiveness and user feedback for men and women.

They have been omitted from further review as it does not add value for Pakistani residents looking for an oil that supports their hair regime.

Things to Consider when Using Oils for Hair

There are a lot of oils and creams for hair and skin, but very few actually work as amazingly as advertised on the label.

This is why a better approach to buying or looking for solutions to hair or skin issues, is starting internally — not externally.

This means you should consider your diet and ask yourself the following:

Do you only consume vegetables? Are you eating enough red meat? The important building blocks for healthy skin and hair is getting enough, easily digestible protein. Studies show that red meat is the easiest for our bodies to break down, whilst vegetables can stay in the intestine for weeks! It’s no wonder cows have so many stomachs…

Do you eat only deep-fried foods? Too much of these foods can block arteries, lead to poor blood circulation and cause hair to fall out in some cases.

Do you exercise enough to make your body breathless for a few minutes every week? This is very useful for overall blood circulation which is key for healthy skin and hair. Running till you are breathless will help your heart push blood to the extremities of your body, including to the hair follicles.

The point is balance.

If you only eat vegetables, then this is not going to be enough for getting great hair or skin. Contrary to what we hear, vegetables are not the answer, at least not in this case (it may be for other situations).

Other things you should consider:

Applying an oil to the scalp is not going to be enough for hair growth or support. You need to be massaging the scalp for 20 minutes a day — and even building a regime for your hair care, as a man or women which includes the internal factors.

This means what you apply or don’t apply topically on your hair and skin — but also what you consume for it — like supplements, and foods.

Supplements are not the same as pharmaceutical medicine.

Within Pakistan, many people refer to supplements as medicine — thinking of pharmaceutical medicine. But this is not the same.

Pharmaceutical medicine can cause serious side effects — whereas most supplements are easy to take in varying concentrations of vitamins or minerals to support the body’s deficiencies.

So when you embark on this journey, it is important to remember your health internally will always be mirrored externally, so you have to support both to see powerful, long-lasting results.
