What is happening to humanity? What is happening to the world?

I am in awe. With all these bomb attacks and violence that have happening, I am little by little losing faith in humanity. The world is getting scarier each day. I hate that almost a thousand miles away from me, there is war and violence going on, and my fellow Filipino people get to suffer. I hate that not a single day the world is at peace. With all these on-going struggles with humanity, I just can't. I am out of words. 

The humanity's enforced and ruled by greed and the thirst for power. Small and weak people without any authority are surrounded with an overwhelming feeling of fear. We are extremely helpless. This is becoming hopeless. I was hoping for a better place to live in. I was hoping for a better world. But it all just turn out to be mere illusion.

It's terrifying. The cruelty lives on. I am afraid that each day the world is getting more and more dominated by those horrible, bad people. I am afraid of facing the reality. I am afraid of living every single day with all of these going on. The lives of young children being taken, the hunger, the endless suffering, the countless wars and attacks. 

My heartfelt prayers are with all the victims. Let's all pray for a safer world. Let's all be safe. 

Would there be hope? or 

Would I remain hopeless?
