A Road You Once Walked Upon

A road of thorns
You walked once alone
Barefoot
When it was hot as hell
With a dead end ahead
Still you saw a finish dot in the end.

A walk which left its rotten sense.
To make your experience stay till death.

You have passed through the phase
Still can feel the pain.

You have healed your wounds
Still all scars can be viewed.

It still burns your heart and pricks your soul.
It still makes you run for extreme poles.

And when you have come
So long, a far
And now you see those walking on a similar path.
Barefoot
Struggling with tears in their eyes
Waiting for a dawn to arise.

The pain you feel
Now
Pricks you harder than before
It's much deeper
Than you felt while walking on a similar shore.
You won't leave them alone
As you know
How it feels to stand on that spot.
You tell them it's fine.
It's just about time.
It shall pass by, and a bright day with sun will arise.
Tell them,
These days will change their life
For better
So don't give up in just a while
Close your eyes
And walk up your aisle
With chin up in pride
Like if it was a reward
