Hey
Did you read my poem today?
Countless metaphors
are waiting to be written,
Numbers of hyperboles
are waiting to be told,
For you. Just for you.
Are you still interested...
...in that single piece of ugly dot in your clean sheet?
...in that ripened part of your favorite fresh cucumber?
...in that commercial bothering your favorite TV shows?
...in that one awful advice of an amateur motorist about your flat tire?
...in that white hair behind your ear?
...in that missed crampled part of your ironed shirt?
My poem,
Which do not bother to make people read even between its jagged lines
Which do not bother to improve its silly confusing wordplay
My poem
Which once just stays hidden
But now loves tortured wide open
Which was made vulnerable. Again.
Which was made silly once again.
Did you read my poem today?
Please do.
