My world was utterly monochrome grey
Then you arrived my light for another day
Without you, everything was all too prosaic.
Each and every smile I gave out was just fake.
My preference is actually quite abstruse
And yet, you are my heart, my darling, my muse.
You lit the incipient spark in my cold heart,
The core inspiration of my works and art.
My dear, you truly are a being sublime
That no one could ever hope to mime.
No extant language has the ability
To express your inimitability.
Just a mere gaze to my current direction
Is enough without return of attention.
Inside me, there was a searing, gaping hole
Without you and your lovely ethereal soul.
Without you and your lovely ethereal soul.
