An open letter to the girl who's never enough

Hey sweetie. I hope you're feeling okay. You did your best today and that's what matters. I know you wanted to ace that test 'cause you studied non stop but merely got a passing score. I know you did great in that audition, you practiced night and day, it's sad that they gave the spot to someone who doesn't want it as much as you do. I know you deserve to be in that sports team 'cause you trained so hard to be where you are now. 

Sweetheart just remember to keep your head up and don't let that crown fall off your head 'cause I know that you'll get to where you want to be. Don't ever feel like all your doing is never enough, it is enough. You just have to keep trying no matter what.

Don't mind the fact that people don't see your worth, what's important is that YOU see your worth as a person. Compare yourself in the past to where you are now, you've gone so far, don't let those missteps hinder you from  achieving your goals and proving those doubters wrong.

Shine in your own unique way. And NEVER let anyone steal your light. Respect yourself enough to let toxic people go. That's how you slowly feel light about yourself and it's when you slowly begin to embrace you. 

You are always and will be enough. It's time you start to believe that.
