The most comfortable place I ever slept was a children's inflatable ball pit.
People always look at me weird when I say that, "why the ball pit?" they ask. I am sure half of them think I am crazy. "A ball pit is not the place for someone to sleep."
But who actually decided that this was the case?
We are given these "norms" set by the world, but what if that is really inhibiting our growth?
The world used to be perceived as flat, planets didn't revolve around the sun, but that changed because someone dared to challenge what was the accepted consensus.
If we keep challenging the world we live in, we will continue to grow as human beings. I am not talking about the big things, either. The little things count, you can't push the limits unless you have set them. One of the most popular sayings is, "the best thing since sliced bread", and that is something we don't even think about. That one little thing changed the world we lived in forever because someone decided to push the boundaries. Who said you had to slice the bread yourself?
So sleep in a ball pit, eat dessert first, challenge the everyday little things. Who knows what you can accomplish by looking at something different, or doing something completely strange.
You might just find a little bit of happiness along the way.
