Lost

I think I am lost.

I knew where I was going, the direction I was headed should have taken me there...

So how come nothing looks the same? 

I have pictured it in my mind so many times before. I could see every detail, feel every inch, smell and taste everything around me. 

I just can't see it anymore.

My sense of touch has escaped my body; all I feel is numb.

I can't smell or taste anymore. 

My nose was stolen, and my eyes were sold by the demons who run my thoughts at 2 am when I cannot sleep. They cause things to twist and turn, and become decrepit, so I can't tell which way is left or right. Things that were once up, are now down, and so much different than they used to be.

I feel lost. 

But I am in the right place. 

I am only lost inside my mind.
