Band Lil Peep Marketing Step One - Build A Website

Info

Does a band need its own website? Or is it enough to possess a MySpace and/or Facebook account?

Can you imagine anyone today taking a business without an internet site seriously? (The answer thereto question is "NO!") So why would you think that fans and venues will take you seriously without your own band website? If you would like to be considered knowledgeable band then you would like to believe your band sort of a business. meaning you would like your own website.

That doesn't mean you do not need a MySpace or a Facebook account. you ought to have those too. But those are social media outreach sites, not knowledgeable website for your band.

If you've never built an internet site , don't be concerned . There are many companies who provide template websites and you certainly don't got to know programming code such as you wont to . You've likely heard of a number of the businesses who offer template websites; Go Daddy and Intuit are a few of them. many of us use free blog software like WordPress to make an internet site . My favorite for a band website may be a company called Bandzoogle.

I like Bandzoogle because it provides website templates designed specifically for musicians. It enables you to share information, like all website. But better than that, you'll upload and sell your music and your Lil Peep Merch. you'll share snippets of your music so people can check it out before buying. you'll also manage your email and your fan email list - all from your Bandzoogle account. If you're a touch web-savvy you will not be limited by Bandzoogle either.

Whether you select to use Bandzoogle or build your own site, make certain your website's url includes the name of your band.

Unfortunately you cannot just build your site and forget it. you would like to figure on your website every day . you would like to offer your fans a reason to return to your site....and a reason to return back to your site. in fact you'll be wanting to stay your website updated together with your gigs, but what else are you able to share together with your fans? Pictures are a quick , easy thanks to update your site and fans love them. Photos of your gigs, your rehearsals, your personal lives. Share a touch little bit of each together with your fans. Have each band member write a blog once every week . meaning four updates every week for a four-member band. Don't limit your blog messages to band related info. Fans want to understand you as people so give them a peak into your personal lives.

What are your favorite musicians willing to share about their lives? Explore and replica .

Do you have a tattoo? What's it of and why did you decide on it? If you had it to try to to once again , would you've got an equivalent tattoo?

Do you play instruments aside from the one you're known for? If so, why does one play the one you play for your band and not one among the others?

Describe your "perfect" day and invite your fans to post their "perfect" day in response.

Post some lyrics you're twiddling with for an upcoming song and ask fans to discuss them.

When you continue vacation (or head home to ascertain your family) tell your fans what it had been like once you revisit . These sorts of posts to your blog really helps your fans see you as a true person.

Your website is your opportunity to make your band's persona, to stay fans engaged with you between gigs and, better of all, an area for you to sell your music and merch far beyond your local market.
