BEING WOMAN

“Behind every successful man there is a woman.”

A woman is said to be the ultimate strength and support behind the success of every individual. A woman holds happiness, love and opinions. She is a mother, a daughter, a wife, a teacher and what not. God gave her only two hands like other humans but he gave her that strength through which she can endure and overcome anything. She has the strength that amazes a man. She can function in all kind of situations. She can embrace several kids at the same time. She will give you a hug that heals everything from bruised knee to broken heart. She is the cure of all the problems that exist. She does everything from cooking - cleaning house - taking care of parents - bringing up children - earning - advising you - ensuring you can be relaxed - maintaining all family relations - everything that benefits you. Sometimes she does all this at the cost of her own health, hobbies and beauty. She cures herself on her own. She never complains for anything which she dislikes. She never harms anyone whether it is her enemy or friend. She forgives everyone who does wrong to her. The love of a woman is unconditional. Not only she can think but can reason and negotiate. She cries but tears are just her way of expressing her grief, her doubts, her love, her loneliness, her suffering and her pride.

A woman is the most incredible creation of God. She is sensitive and soft but strong and hard at the same time. A woman is indeed marvelous.

Despite being the ultimate support system of everyone’s problem, a Woman is often criticized. She’s often blamed for all the mis-happenings. Everyone expects her to stay quiet, whatever the situation may be. The right to speak is prohibited only for a woman. Men treat her as if she was only born to satisfy his needs, to give him pleasure, to serve him. Undoubtedly, women have come over all this and have become powerful. Women are competing men in each and every field and prove to be better managers, employers, employees, etc. than the men. But still more amelioration is required. Enhancement in the way the society thinks. People need to change their thoughts. They need to recognize the importance of a woman. They need to accept that a woman is no less than a man. She can do all what a man does. The time has gone when women were only meant to do the household work. Even a man can do all those things. It’s just that society thinks a male is dominant and he should be hustling instead of a woman.

Being a citizen of a developing country, where everything is changing for good, for better, let us stand up and make one more change. Let us make the identity of a woman worth. Let us make all Indians proud by giving equal rights to both men and women. Let us give more importance to the women, who gives everyone so much importance. Let us make her feel special, happy just the way she tries to make all of us feel special and happy. Let us care about her the way she does. Let us give her respect for being what she is because it is not at all easy to give so much love, respect, care without demanding for any of these in return. Let us make her proud of “Being a Woman”.
