How can one overcome what their mind believes but their heart refuses?
She watched him leave. He watched her walk away.
She was smiling and she seemed so strong, so steady, but her eyes must have betrayed how she was shattering inside.
She could see it clearly in his eyes, too, despite how calm he looked, despite his smile. His voice was broken.
It's still going on in her head, in his heart.
They know it's over. Their paths can't meet.
But how could they break themselves free?
Locked in a box of memories.
A cage of emotions and they don't have the key.
Walking away with bittersweet memories, ones they shared.
Not many. It might have been a short time.
Everyone might blame them. Do they blame themselves?
How could one fall in love so fast, so deeply? And get trapped in.
Is it heaven's power? Or a connection of souls?
But then why does fate have to be so cruel?
If they were not meant to be, then why meet?
In the end, it's the box of memories they are in. Filling their heads. Over and over.
When will it ever make an end?
Will it ever end?
A curse until the end of the time?
To remember, to miss, to cry every moment in solitude?
In the box of memories they remained, wondering who would get out first, wondering if it was possible at all.
Will it ever end?
