Breaking stereotypes in writing - Subject two

Info

Love stories can be one the most celebrated genres to exist. With its usual wit and classy setting, it is also known as the sweet treat for readers. It usually isn't very dark, but could be very corny. Some think of it as a disgrace to reading and writing, while others worship it like a religion. However, the spark of love stories is starting to dissolve into nothing and people starting to doubt the promise of good entertainment it holds.

So the question remains, why are they losing their spark?

simply because of past dark stories and the growth of storytelling.

some writers tend to not understand the few rules of writing relationships and how to show them of as what the author is trying to say. Sometimes they even become jokes you tell, or are used as a warning flag to show why not read love stories. to worsen the situation, storytelling has changed over the years. Now, storytelling isn't about one thing but about multiple things. it is not just about space, it is about family too. Its not just about ghosts, it is about growing too.

And it is damn time that we forget about the past and realise that we need to become one with the time.

love stories in reality are quite unrealistic. its time we change that.

Who care about the past when we have the future. nobodies going to forget the dark old love stories until we make new classics. so now open a new document, or grab a pen and a paper.

write.

Thanks for writing and I agree on your points, and add on, the elevated growth of other genres like mystery, adventure ... made the perception of the fade of love genre in writing. Good work my friend! Read my latest works too if possible.
