Broken Promises

PROMISE, a small little word
Easily broken without realising it's worth.

Forever, they're gonna walk with me, they said
Never, I'd seen them walking with me instead.

They promised me they'll help me see the lights
Though they ended up doing nothing right.

Little did they know, their broken promises will eventually make me strong
That now i keep on cheering myself by saying , no there's nothing wrong.

Their broken promises played a positive role
That gave me a chance to feel their soul.
