Chapter 1: The Comeback

'Remember me?' flashed my phone.
My heart skipped a beat as my eyes stared at your name. Months later after you broke my heart my lips still let out a smile at the sight of your name. You ran away from me because of demons you couldn't let go. The very thought of us being together scared you but you would never let me know. Because you said nothing. Nothing at all. Making up some lame excuses later trying to win me over. I'm not something to be trampled upon whenever you desire. I promised myself to never let you through again. But here I am now wondering what made you text me again? You apologized this time and blamed it on your demons while being quite unaware that you gave birth to mine. You ask me to meet you so you could show how sorry you are. I denied it at the very first instance but you charmed me with your words, such a charmer you are.
Are you worth another chance? Or is it another run away dance? And then arose another lonely night when I lay on my bed on thought, 'A second chance won't hurt right?'
