I caught myself smiling at silly childhood memories,
When we were wild and free as a bee;
The joy of waiting eagerly for winter to come,
And putting all those school books to do a solo hum.
The laughter, the so serious face when acting a naive drama,
The scolding when playing outside in our pyjamas,
The play house and feeding teddy bears with water,
The playing school and Holi playing with petals of flowers.
The joy of waking up in the morning, running outside for a chit chat,
And mother shouting, "Naphi will you brush your teeth first!"
The joy of swallowing food as fast as you can,
Just so you can get those sunburn tan.
The love of playing from nine in the morning till five in the evening,
And no worries about a thing:
Only sunburn that hurts when mother apply glycerine on our face,
And the best thing is licking it because of its sweet taste.
Oh how I wish I could freeze those moments,
Where Joy, Happiness and Peace are in abundance!
Oh how I could fly back to those times,
Where love and laughter are found in singing rhymes!
A story of a little girl with big dreams, a girl who sees life from many aspect of individuality.
