Confianza

as I lay in my bed,

everything still

here in my head.

faces may get old,

may be blurred

but I can recall

what I overheard.

It’s been six-weeks and

Seventy-three days.

In the dark I told you

the way they shattered

the glass of faith I invested.

In the morning,

I knew it was your turn

to do the same thing.

As if every each of you

intended to tricked me

and in just a snap!

I knew I had no one

to blame but me

as I let you get to know

the deepest part of me.

The definition of trust in me

has been tested and

I cursed to universe

it won't happen again.

Never to let any of you

be so close to the

door of my feeble heart
