Tears were spilling endlessly from her eyes.
"I can't do this anymore."
She had never thought about taking her own life before but after all the disasters that have happened, it was hard not to let go. So hard not to give up and now she did. She had to escape this haunting reality full of nothings.
And so she ran.
She ran without thinking. She ran without stopping.
She went directly to the woods where the chilling night started to envelope her.
"Nothing, nothing appreciates the things I've done. It's all trash and I'm useless. Nothing is worth it anymore," she vents out.
In the middle of the woods she abruptly stops and realized she'd gone far enough to be considered lost.
She laughed at this thought because inside she was already lost. Suddenly her laugh was cut short when she heard a strange howl and then and there she took notice of her surroundings.
A stream was just beside her glittering under the moonlight. It was creating a gentle hum that composed a melody with the swish of trees from the wind. It calmed her senses. It made her feel safe.
She never thought that nature, the world around her could be this beautiful and majestic.
That was the moment that she realized she had so much to be thankful for.
She knew that whenever she'd feel alone and afraid, nature would always be there for her. She stopped everything and spent the night just looking up the sky, counting stars.
