Date Night for Mom and Her Significant Other

Info

Sometimes with all the business of baby feedings and naps, the days tend to melt together and a night out with your significant other becomes a thing of the past. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed with new responsibilities or trying to take on more than you can chew. Take heart, all of your effort will pay off in the long run as you develop a loving bond with your new baby. Try not to forget about yourself and your relationship with your love in the process.

Sometimes all it takes to put a little skip in your step is to be able to spend some quality time with your spouse or loved one. Never feel guilty about calling on the help of a trusted friend or family member to care for your baby so that you and your love may have a night out to rekindle the flame.

Play it up! After the date has been set psyche yourself up by wearing your risqué undergarments beneath your normal clothing. Give him a peak if the moment presents itself. The anticipation should keep you both smiling.

Plan it out! If baby will be cared for at the sitter’s home, turn your home into a romantic suite for the two of you to enjoy. Take out the candles for lighting and set the tone with the right music. If possible, skip cooking for the night and plan on having dinner delivered. Who needs a sink full of dirty dishes to think about? If take out is not an option, choose a meal that the both of you can prepare together. The idea is to make the night all about the two of you together.

If you’re expected to leave home for your date, plan to go to your favorite hangouts. This could be a nice restaurant, movie theater, pool hall or mini golf. Do what you both have the most fun doing together. As far as utilizing the sexy lingerie that’s been hiding underneath your clothes, a hotel room may be the only option. However if baby is sound asleep at the time of your arrival back home, enjoy every second that is available.

Whatever you do and however you do it, enjoy every moment of your night together. Do not underestimate the power of a strong relationship with your significant other. It can be the strong foundation that keeps the family healthy and happy.
