Dear Papa,
Things have changed a lot. I was just nine years old when you went abroad just to support us our daily needs. You know papa, I'm now a teenager and it's a little bit sad that you couldn't watch me grow up because you have to work in order for us to live a better life.
You've been there for seven years and I miss you so much. A phone call or a video call is not enough to lessen this longing feeling, papa. I've been wanting a hug from you since the day you left. I want to feel your warmth and embrace again. Papa, I miss the times you'd read me bedtime stories until I'd fall asleep. I miss your new version of Fairy Tales and your unique stories. I miss the way you'd lift me up and you'd put me on your shoulders. I miss your delicious cooking and every bonding we had. We were very poor yet we were so happy.
Papa, I know it's not easy for you to be away from us. I know it's not easy for you to go to abroad without us in your side. I know how hard it is for you to keep working even if you can't get enough sleep because of it. I know it is painful for you that we are not there to help you when you need us. I know how much you miss us. And I know that you're so worried about us right now and I know that it's killing you inside. You know papa, we are fine here and I hope you are too. We miss you too and we are worried about you, papa. But I guess, we just have to endure it. Just a little bit more time and you're going home, right? We'll wait for you. I will wait for you, papa.
You don't have to be so worrywart, papa. My siblings are all grown up and they have their own life now and they have their own jobs. They've become really successful papa, and it was all thanks to you and your hardworks. Now, I'm the only one who's studying and I'm really studying hard. And I think you're overestimating me? Hahaha, or maybe, that's how fathers are. Papa, you're too proud of me but I'm not even that great.You always overstimate me when it comes to my studies but when it comes to household chores and life, you always underestimate me. You know, you've been very supportive to me, to us, from the very start. So you don't have anything to worry about because we're really working hard. All that is left is for you to come home.
Well, since I'm a teenager now, of course, a lot of things have changed. And if you're worrying about me going out with a guy, then there's nothing to worry about. I don't really have something like that in mind. But if I do find someone worth going out, don't worry. You are still the best man for me. And no matter what happens, I will always be your little girl.
Papa, as your daughter, you are my first love and I hope someday, I'll marry someone as great as you. And I'm pretty sure that you are my brothers' first hero. They really look up to you and respect you. Just so you know papa, your kids love you so much.
You are strict but you're actually kind. You have the kindest love of all, papa. And I'm sure that mama is so madly in love with you forever and ever.
