Dear Santa's Child

Dear gentle child of mine,
You're just like some precious fine wine,
That becomes better and better with age,
With time and every passing phase..

Here's a gift, to make you remember,
When you lay eyes on it every December,
Whether Santa's real or just a lore,
What we choose to believe always opens a door..

What's so special with some carved white wood,
Nothing, I dare say,but it might be a useful good,
The creatures co-exist on that and inside you too,
Creating a concoction that's a wonderful view..

You're like a deer that's quiet and calm,
It oozes out of you like a unique charm,
Into the deep forests you go,
A lovely creature with a golden glow..

Like a lion you're full of noble gallantry,
Your sharp mind resembles a battle's armoury,
You lead the horde with such valour,
Troubled souls revive in your royal air..

None the wiser than an elephant they say,
And wise you must be when life can be so grey,
With your trunk you hold your baggage ,so heavy,
Wheel of good times or bad,you have their memory..
