DECEMBER

The frozen month

The cold weather

Something to feel

Something to shiver

Yet you cross my mind

Even if I don’t see you everyday

Where are you?

I ask myself

Don’t you feel the urge to see me?

Like you did every day in summer

Even if we are not friends

Don’t you see how I smile when I see you?

Those summer months were fabulous

But now I am frozen

Because you don’t know how much I miss you face

I miss your summer outfit

Looking so simple

Yet so fabulous

But now I am dying to see you

In your winter outfit

It’s my fortune that I see you in the morning

If I have a holiday

On other days you just seem to vanish before my eyes

This cold

So beautiful yet so hurting

To separate you and me

December so good

Yet so cruel

Seem like you will

Never be mine

Like you want to

You’ll never say I love you to me

Like I want you to do

I hope it’s not a goodbye

Nor an end to my childish whims.
