I closed my eyes as I listen to you as you say those words,
The rain poured down heavily compensating for tears that should have fell
And in the pause of the moment, I hear you hesitate, your lungs filling air, your heart filling conscience
But as it nears to full, you gathered your strength,
It's now or never.
Let it go or have a life of torture.
Same as happiness or staying with me.
I also gathered strength so both of us can be strong
Although my soul already knows what's coming,
My heart will never be prepared.
I heard it right, your voice as it cracked.
And though all I want is to grab hold of you,
I know I have to let go, too.
And the moment we break away,
I have this huge feeling of deja vu.
Two souls met and been together but only to be separated at the end.
But worry not for I am happy, because atleast we have met.
