Silent wars

Invisible scars 

What do I gain? 

Nothing but pain

Tears that I shed..

There are monsters in my head

Alone in the dark

I need a little spark

The embrace of the cold,

Lies stories untold

A war raging within

Leaving bruises on my skin

I hope someone hears my plight

'cause tomorrow is another fight

It's too much to keep

and the only escape is sleep...
