Has been at odd, since the beginning of time
The clash of love and fate
Star crossed lovers, foolishly sacrificed
At the altar of the hate
Ill-fated tale of wretched souls
On the fragile wings the restrictions imposed
Doomed from the beginning
The love of guns and rose
She was sweet and nice, innocent were her eyes
And the way she glide, made the angels sigh
He was haughty and rude, still the coolest dude
And his face it seemed, made every girl fall for him
Her beauty, his style; she’s gracious, he’s vile
What would happen, no one knows. Some guns some rose
“Hero is not who dies, for his Honor and Pride”
That’s what he said, “Matters what it pays”
“In this wonderful world, never break a heart.
‘Cause you get what you give” that was her rule to live.
Her rights his wrongs, his dreams her songs
That’s the life they chose. Some guns some rose
His world was full, of guns and goons,
For love and feelings he had no room
Life was a game he had to win
He said, “Victory covers every wrong, each sin”
She believed in giving another chance
In her world forgiveness really made sense
She felt, “Whatever happens is for good.
There is good in everyone, whether deep down or crude”
His black, her white; Her please, his might
His gain, her loss. Some guns some rose
She was ice, he was fire
Their union was god’s desire
How and when he had already planned
And nature favored his plan
It had been raining heavy and dark was night
Not the place but the time was right
She ran to her home because she was running late
He too was on that way waiting for his bait
When their eyes met, A deal was set
Love’s silent prose. Some guns some rose
She got him hypnotized, herself was mesmerized
He was the one she had been waiting, ‘her true love’, she realized
He too was dumbstruck, fascinated, spellbound
Then worked some luck, he was in love with her, he found
They fell in love, gods smiled far above
It was nature’s force, Some guns some rose
But alas! Their happiness could not last for long
An evil eye had cast a spell so strong
And the price they had to pay was more than their lives
Like roses were doomed to be stomped by knives
Nothing like that was hoped, like god was robbed
Like angels’ woes. Some guns some rose
Their worlds were condemned, to never meet
It seemed they were jealous, of their love’s beat
“Their love is forbidden”, the world said
Now the whole world wanted them dead.
They ran all night, no help in sight
Cried holy souls. Some guns some rose
“Those who fall in love” they said, “never rise”
They said, “Those two were not being any wise.
“As stories such, always conclude with cries
Thus no love such could ever be justified.”
But they walked right ahead, in spite of what they said
Or the threat it could pose. Some guns some rose
But the destiny had another end in mind
She let run loose the evil and unkind
Everyone played pieces to her perfect game
To tip the odds, in winning her claim
They lose she wins, she had it planned
They win she gets another chance
What became of their love could harm none
As long as she wins, was all her concern
She had to win this bet. By whatever means she gets
She let loose the chaos. Some guns some rose
The world is neither free nor bound
To make their home, they had no common ground
Each world threatened the other’s faith
Their broken dreams made no sound
She tried to change his heart, he tried to bring her in his world
Soon they realized, love leaves you no choice
She wept he cried, no place to hide
Story of sorrows. Some guns some rose
Their worlds were plotting for their fall
The strength of their love could save it all
“Strike the iron hot, but make no haste”
They decided to play them by their traits
The bad world accused him of betrayal
The good world accused him of abducting the girl
And the girl was the pearl of her father’s eyes
Father in whose hands our hero’s life now lies
Would he ever know, her daughter loved him so
Let’s see how future unfolds. Some guns some rose
Hope their love prevails, and this tragic tale,
Got you hooked too
As we too lie in wait, with bated breath
