Eight and I'm Never Coming Back

You gave in to your knees in that hard floor

I stood there right outside the door

The pain I feel, my heart can take no more

Thinking of what really are we fighting for

One, you held my hand like you want me

Just like those days, when I'm still the only one you see

Back on the past when there's a beautiful "we"

Like in the world, there's only you and me

Two, I stood up from where I sat

Felt the emptiness of this flat

My feet felt cold on top of this mat

I felt how cold were our few chats

Three, you told me you love me

You said you can never be free

You said in your life, there can only be one me

Created a cloud of our blissful memories

Four, and I looked into your eyes

Eyes that I never thought could ever be mine

Those big brown eyes that started to cry

I know in my heart you will never be fine

Five, you kissed me in the forehead

Trying to beg me to stay

But the kisses feels like the dead

Cold even in the middle of the day

Six, you shouted my name

As loud as the laughter we once shared

As loud as your voice when you came

Giving me shivers and keeping me scared

Seven, you said "I love you"

Words enough to make me smile

Although I still feel the same too

I can no longer see you waiting at the end of the aisle

Eight, I turned away

Facing one new track

No matter how you beg me to stay

Without looking back, I swore, "I'm never coming back"
