Embracing Your Innerself

All these years, I had pretended to be someone I was not. behind that fake smile were tears that flooded my eyes. I hated myself. I thought I was hideous, and that I would scare everyone away from my life. I thought that everyone has a perfect life, then why not me? I hid from my weaknesses.

                              Even my best friend was unknown of my true identity, I gathered all the courage I could, and told her everything I was that day. She helped me truly embrace my inner self. my true form embraced me and loved me back, they didn't run away. I realized how wrong I was to hide from everyone. how wrong I was to portray myself as a perfect being, when I never really was......

I learned that day, everyone has problems of their own, and the best way to solve them is to accept and overcome not hide from them. Hiding from your problems only makes them worse. It does take a lot of courage and support to accept your problems and overcome them. I found that support in the form of my best friend.

as of today, two years later, with hard work and love, support I have managed to overcome my weaknesses and problems. today I fear nothing. I don't pretend anymore. I love myself, and so do others.

And this is for all those who think it isn't possible, It is possible cause I am a living example for it. If not anywhere else take courage from my experience and embrace your inner self, overcome your problems and weaknesses, and you will feel the best you have in years....... TRUST ME.
