EROS.

Drowning in the ocean of eternal life,

Carried away by the sense of beauty,

Disappointed when romance fades away.

We can’t talk about tragedy- there is no tragedy in such love.

Why does love fail us so often?

Deep down, we’re really shallow;

It is foolish to love a beautiful body when beauty of the soul is superior.

Love fails only when we fail to love.

We end up where we began- dazed, disappointed, anxious and hopeful.

Love is not about possession, it is about wanting that person to be happy.

Love is when you cross the path of my destiny,

And I look at you and you’re the only one I see.

With masks down, we walk hand in hand, gazing at the stars,

And the universe smiles,

You do not talk but merely accept my being .

It is all too much and yet not enough, at the same time.
