Escaping adulthood

Prologue
"After three months you will be legally an adult ,so start behaving like one" My mother scolded while I was playing hopscotch in a summer afternoon . I hated it when they always asked me to behave . It was like leaving myself & pretending to be someone else. my heart drowned in unwanted sadness as I knew , I will be like them one day.

Time was sliding from my fist like sand. Growing up is a part of our lives. One day I will have to grow up and be like they wanted me to be . As social animals we crave for acceptance . But I'm not  sure  the thing that they had gone through was growing . Aging might fit as a synonym for the process that made them adult . Aging included stop doing what made them smile wide because they had expectations to live up to. They can't  laugh dance  and play like I did because responsibilities handcuffed them. The count down had started ,I was about to be one of them. Did I have a way to escape ? Only three months were left to find one.
